Best Strawberry Cake Ever.  That’s what one of my customers said after ordering this cake a few months ago.

Ingredients:

2 cups all purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/8 teaspoon salt

1 1/3 cups low fat buttermilk

1 teaspoon vanilla

1/2 cup butter, softened

1 1/2 cups sugar

4 egg whites

2 lbs. fresh strawberries, sliced

1/4 cup sugar for strawberries

1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream

3 Tablespoons sugar for whipping cream
