  • 1/2 lb macaroni
  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef

  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • Tomato juice (if needed)


  1. Cook the macaroni al dente according to package instructions.
  2. While the macaroni is cooking, brown the ground beef and onion in a large skillet or Dutch oven.
  3. Drain the cooked beef and onion mixture, then season with garlic salt, pepper, chili powder, and hot sauce to taste.
  4. In a large bowl, mash the whole stewed tomatoes with a potato masher, then add them to the beef mixture along with the ketchup.
