Pico de gallo is a type of salsa commonly used in Mexican cuisine, I use it as the main ingredient to make Mexican Fajitas.
How To Make Pico de Gallo ?
INGREDIENTS :
5 LARGE TOMATOES.
1 LARGE WHITE ONION AND 1 RED ONION.
2 HOT JALAPEÑOS.
1 BUNCH OF CORIANDER.
GARLIC [ 4-5 CLOVES ].
1 TEASPOON CHILI POWDER.
1 TEASPOON SALT.
1 TEASPOON CUMIN.
1/2 CUP LIME JUICE.
INSTRUCTIONS :
In a grilled pan, I drizzled 2 teaspoons of olive oil. I added garlic, salt, cumin, chili powder, and lime juice [ you can replace the lime juice with vinegar ].
I cut the tomatoes into small dice and chopped onion and jalapeños and the fresh coriander, then I mixed everything in a large bowl or salad bowl.
Then I added lime juice prepared before to the salad. MIXING WELL.
P.S ” you can add some diced fruit like pineapple or mango.
