These Meatball Sliders Have A Cheesy Surprise In Every Gooey Bite

INGREDIENTS  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 mozzarell cheese sticks
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 jar marinara sauce
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus more as garnish
  • 1 pkg dinner rolls

INSTRUCTIONS 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Cut cheese sticks into 12 pieces. Set aside.
  • Place ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder in a mixing bowl and combine.
  • Divide beef into 12 equal sized portions.
  • Shape beef into a patty and wrap beef around a piece of cheese.
  • Roll into a ball, enclosing the cheese, and place in an oven safe baking dish.
  • Top meatballs with marinara sauce.
  • Bake for 45 minutes or until completely cooked through.
  • To serve, slice rolls in half. Place a meatball on each roll and top with some marinara sauce and grated Parmesan cheese.
