INGREDIENTS
- 1 lb ground beef
- 3 mozzarell cheese sticks
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup seasoned breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp pepper
- 1 jar marinara sauce
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus more as garnish
- 1 pkg dinner rolls
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Cut cheese sticks into 12 pieces. Set aside.
- Place ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder in a mixing bowl and combine.
- Divide beef into 12 equal sized portions.
- Shape beef into a patty and wrap beef around a piece of cheese.
- Roll into a ball, enclosing the cheese, and place in an oven safe baking dish.
- Top meatballs with marinara sauce.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until completely cooked through.
- To serve, slice rolls in half. Place a meatball on each roll and top with some marinara sauce and grated Parmesan cheese.
