Air-Fried Bologna Sandwich

Ingredients :

  • 2 slices white sandwich bread
  • 1 slice Bologna, beef
  • 1 teaspoon mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 slice Cheddar cheese
  • 1 slice tomato
  • 1 leaf lettuce

  • Step 1Preheat an air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • Step 2Place 1 slice of bread in the air fryer basket and cook for 1 minute. Transfer to a plate. Repeat with remaining slice of bread.
  • Step 3Remove casing from bologna. Using a knife, make 4 slits to prevent curling. Place bologna in the basket of the air fryer and cook for 3 minutes. Flip bologna over and cook for 3 minutes more.
  • Step 4Spread mayonnaise on 1 slice of bread, mustard on the other. Assemble sandwich by layering cheese, bologna, tomato, and lettuce on 1 piece of bread and top with other pieces of bread.

Cook’s Note:

I used Dijon mustard to tame some of the saltiness from the bologna but feel free to use yellow mustard or any mustard of your choosing.
