Cheesy Tomato Mozzarella Caprese Dip

How to Make Caprese Dip:

Mix soured cream , herbs, mustard powder, & thyme during a bowl
Add within the cheese and chopped basil and mix
Spread the dip mixture into a baking dish and sprinkle with diced tomatoes
Bake 10-15 minutes at 350°F
While the dip is baking, prepare the bread
Slice the baguette, place bread on a baking sheet, and drizzle with vegetable oil
Bake within the oven with the dip for 6-8 minutes, until toasted
When the bread and dip are done, switch the oven to broil for five minutes therefore the cheese gets a touch crispy on top

Ingredients

▢1 cup light soured cream
▢1/2 teaspoon mustard powder
▢1 teaspoon garlic powder
▢1 teaspoon dried thyme
▢1 teaspoon herbs of provance
▢8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese about 2 cups
▢8 ounces shredded Monterey Jack cheese about 2 cups
▢1 cup basil leaves chopped
▢1 cup diced tomatoes
▢Extra basil leaves
▢2 French bread baguettes sliced

Instructions

1/ Heat oven to 350 degrees
2/ Stir soured cream , mustard powder, herbs, and thyme during a large bowl
3/ Add cheese and cup chopped basil
4/ Spread mixture into small pan or pie dish
5/ sprinkle diced tomatoes on top of mixture
6/ Bake for 10 to fifteen minutes or until cheese has melted and is bubbling.
7/ While the dip is within the oven, slice bread and place on baking dish
8/ slightly drizzle or spray bread with vegetable oil
9/ Slide into the oven and bake 6 to eight minutes until toasted.
10/ After cheese is melted and bubbly, switch to broil and let it get extra crispy for about 5 minutes (watch closely)
11/ Serve warm with toasted bread.
12/ Fight the urge to form it everywhere again immediately 🙂
