Pomegranate Mimosa
Classic Mimosa’s get a seasonal makeover. Ingredients
- 1 lime sliced
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 750 ml bottle of champagne dry or “Brut” and chilled well
- 3 cups pomegranate juice
- 6 Tbsp pomegranate seeds
- fresh rosemary for garnish
Instructions
- Use a slice of lime and run along the rim of each champagne flute.
- Dip the rim of the champagne flute in the granulated sugar.
- Fill 8 champagne flutes halfway full of pomegranate juice.
- Fill the rest of the glasses with sparkling wine, adding more or less if desired.
- Garnish each glass with 1 Tablespoon pomegranate seeds and a sprig of rosemary.
Notes
- Use 100% pomegranate juice if possible.
- For the sparkling wine, always choose dry or “brut”.
- Champagne, Cava or Prosecco are all excellent choices.
- 50/50 is the traditional ratio of sparkling wine to orange juice, but you can adjust according to your taste.
